Project Background
North Korean defector youth face unique challenges in literacy development and identity formation. Many arrive in South Korea with limited formal education and struggle to express their experiences in a new language and cultural context. StoryTech Humanity Lab addresses these challenges by providing a safe, supportive platform where young people can develop their writing skills, share their stories, and build their identity through AI-enhanced storytelling tools.
